Job summary

Smile Education is recruiting passionate SEN Teachers to work across Birmingham primary schools, specialist provisions and alternative provision settings. We offer day-to-day, short-term and long-term placements, as well as full-time and part-time positions.

You will create an engaging, inclusive learning environment, differentiate lessons, plan and deliver tailored activities, and contribute to EHCP targets. We welcome teachers with SEN experience committed to safeguarding and pupil progress.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teachers with QTS and SEN experience.
• Experience supporting pupils with Autism, ADHD or SEMH.
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
• Commitment to safeguarding and inclusive education.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons tailored to individual pupil needs.
• Teach pupils across EYFS, KS1 and KS2.
• Differentiate lessons using a range of teaching strategies.
• Monitor, assess and record pupil progress; support academic, social and emotional development.
• Collaborate with Teaching Assistants, SENCOs, parents/carers and external professionals.
