Job summary

You will work with teaching assistants, parents, and external professionals to support learners with diverse needs, helping them reach their full potential in a nurturing environment.

Qualifications

• QTS or an equivalent teaching qualification.
• Experience as a SEN Teacher or in a similar role.
• Enhanced DBS checks with Update Service and right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons for pupils with SEND.
• Create a positive, safe classroom promoting independence and progress.
• Adapt teaching to support pupils with autism and communication needs.
• Monitor and record pupil progress and contribute to IEP/EHCP targets.
• Collaborate with teaching assistants, the SENCO, parents and external professionals.
• Promote positive behaviour and wellbeing through inclusive practice.
