Job summary

Connex Education Partnership in Swindon is seeking a Secondary SEND Teacher to work across specialist SEND schools and provisions in Swindon and surrounding areas. You will deliver engaging, accessible lessons and adapt learning to individual needs while building positive relationships with pupils.

You may teach across a range of specialist settings, supporting pupils with autism, SEMH, ADHD, and other needs, using practical teaching approaches.

Qualifications

• QTS is required.
• Secondary teaching experience is essential.
• SEND experience is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging, accessible secondary lessons.
• Adapt learning to individual needs.
• Build positive relationships with pupils.
• Use practical and creative teaching approaches.
• Support behaviour and emotional regulation.
• Encourage confidence and independence.
• Track progress and adapt provision.
