Job summary

Randstad Education in Warrington is partnering with local secondary schools to place qualified Maths teachers across WA1–WA13 postcodes. We offer permanent, long-term, and daily supply roles with immediate start dates for qualified professionals.

You will plan high-quality Maths lessons, assess progress, manage classrooms, and prepare students for GCSEs alongside supportive departments. Competitive weekly pay, free CPD, and a £300 referral bonus are available.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or QTLS (ECTs/NQTs welcome).
• Degree level qualification in Mathematics or related subject discipline.
• Proven track record of teaching Maths within the UK National Curriculum at Secondary level.
• Enhanced DBS check registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one through Randstad).

Responsibilities

• Lesson Delivery: Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality Mathematics lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
• Assessment: Grade coursework, track pupil progress, and provide constructive feedback to accelerate learning.
• Classroom Management: Maintain high standards of pupil behaviour and foster a focused learning environment.
• Exam Preparation: Prepare students thoroughly for target grades and upcoming GCSE examinations.
• Department Collaboration: Work alongside secondary Maths departments to support curriculum goals and school standards.
