Job summary

TeacherActive is recruiting a Maths Teacher for a welcoming secondary school in Pembrokeshire, Wales. The role is permanent and a strong focus on delivering engaging, high-quality Maths lessons across the secondary age range.

NQT or experienced teachers are encouraged to apply. The position offers weekly PAYE, term-time only work, and dedicated consultant support to help you succeed in the classroom.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS); NQT welcome.
• Strong subject knowledge in Mathematics.
• Experience teaching Maths at secondary level.
• Excellent classroom management.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willing to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and challenging Maths lessons across the secondary age range.
• Inspire pupils to develop confidence and enjoyment in Mathematics.
• Plan and adapt lessons to meet a range of abilities and learning needs.
• Create a positive, well-managed classroom environment.
• Monitor pupil progress and provide meaningful feedback.
• Encourage high expectations and a strong culture of learning.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to support pupil achievement.
