Job summary

Marchant Recruitment is assisting a reputable secondary school in Manchester in finding an enthusiastic Science Teacher to join the department on a full-time, ASAP basis. You will deliver engaging KS3–KS5 science lessons and support students to develop knowledge, practical skills, and confidence.

The successful candidate will hold QTS or equivalent, teach across key stages, differentiate instruction, and contribute to raising attainment within a collaborative department.

Qualifications

• Holds QTS or an equivalent teaching qualification.
• Experience teaching Science within a secondary school.
• Can confidently teach across KS3 to KS5 and differentiate instruction.
• Committed to raising attainment and student engagement.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver high-quality Science lessons across KS3–KS5.
• Prepare students for GCSE and A Level examinations.
• Differentiate teaching to meet diverse learning needs.
• Develop students' scientific knowledge and practical understanding.
• Monitor progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Contribute positively to the wider Science department.
