Penketh High School in Warrington is seeking a classroom-focused Science teacher to plan and deliver engaging KS3/KS4 lessons for the spring–summer 2027 term (January–August 2027). You will secure strong progress for pupils and contribute to the department’s wider curriculum and enrichment offer.

The role involves delivering high-quality lessons, tracking progress, and participating in CPD and department activities to support new teachers and colleagues.

Competenze

• Strong subject knowledge in Science and the ability to teach across KS3 and KS4.
• Clear classroom practice with a track record of raising pupil achievement and maintaining high expectations of behaviour and work.
• Good planning and assessment skills to monitor pupil progress effectively.
• Ability to contribute positively to department curriculum and enrichment activities.

• Deliver high-quality Science lessons across KS3 and KS4, adapting teaching to meet pupil needs.
• Track and be accountable for pupil progress using assessment to plan next steps.
