Job summary

Esteem North Academy is seeking an experienced teacher to deliver science to KS3 and biology to KS4. The role involves teaching on a 32.5 hour basis across two Chesterfield campuses, starting January 2027. The post requires flexibility to support a small, dedicated team and to work across sites as the academy expands.

You will engage disaffected pupils with high expectations, resilience, and a growth mindset, building positive relationships and safeguarding at the heart of teaching.

Qualifications

• Experience teaching science to KS3 and biology to KS4.
• Ability to work with disaffected pupils and challenging behaviours.
• Willingness to work across multiple sites and travel between campuses.

Responsibilities

• Teach science to KS3 and biology to KS4.
• Contribute to a small staffing team to run the site smoothly.
