St Aidan's CE Memorial Primary School in Hartlepool is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our caring team. The role is permanent and part-time, aligned with term time plus specified days, to support learning across our primary school.

The successful candidate will hold a Level 2 TA qualification, have strong numeracy and literacy, and be committed to safeguarding and the wellbeing of children. DBS checks will be required.

Qualifications

• Hold a relevant Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification
• Have good numeracy, literacy and communication skills
• Have the knowledge understanding and skills to support learning
• Be enthusiastic, resourceful and keen to ensure that the highest possible standards of pupil achievement, personal development and well-being are achieved

Responsibilities

• Work alongside our teaching staff to play an important part in helping children get the most out of their learning
• Help to provide rich experiences to enable our children to become effective learners
• Support daily routines in a stimulating and creative setting
