Job summary

Connex Education Partnership is seeking a passionate Primary Teacher to join a Scunthorpe primary school and deliver high-quality education to pupils. The role requires QTS and at least 6 months teaching experience, with a focus on planning engaging lessons and supporting pupil progress.

You will work collaboratively with colleagues to foster a positive, inclusive learning environment and contribute to pupil wellbeing and achievement. This is a supply role with competitive weekly pay.

Qualifications

• Holds QTS and eligible to teach in a UK primary school.
• Minimum of 6 months’ teaching experience in a primary setting.
• Ability to plan and deliver engaging lessons and support pupil progress.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, creative lessons in line with the national curriculum.
• Create an inclusive classroom environment that supports learning and development.
• Assess and monitor pupil progress to identify learning needs and improvements.
• Adapt teaching methods and resources for differing abilities and learning styles.
• Manage classroom behaviour effectively and promote positive attitudes to learning.
• Support pupils’ academic, social, and emotional development.
• Encourage pupil participation, confidence, independence and love of learning.
• Maintain records of pupil progress and attainment.
• Collaborate with teaching assistants, colleagues and school leadership.
• Follow safeguarding procedures to ensure pupil safety.
