Job summary

AMA Admin invites applications for a Primary Teacher role at a Wakefield primary school starting in September. The position is available on long- or short-term basis, with possibilities for temp-to-perm, and offers a supportive school culture focused on achievement and wellbeing.

The ideal candidate will have QTS or equivalent, recent primary experience, strong curriculum knowledge, and a proactive, adaptable approach to teaching.

Qualifications

• QTS or equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
• Recent experience in a primary school setting.
• Strong knowledge of the Primary National Curriculum.
• Excellent classroom management and organisational skills.
• Ability to build positive relationships with pupils, colleagues and parents.
• Proactive, enthusiastic and adaptable approach to teaching.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons in line with the National Curriculum.
• Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment where every child can thrive.
• Assess pupil progress and adapt teaching strategies where necessary.
• Support pupils of all abilities to achieve their individual learning goals.
• Work closely with teaching assistants, parents and school leaders to support pupil development.
• Promote positive behaviour and encourage a lifelong love of learning.
