Job summary

TeacherActive Limited in Hendsford is seeking a dedicated Primary School Teacher to join our friendly school community. You will plan and deliver engaging lessons, support pupil progress and foster a safe, inclusive classroom environment.

With QTS or PGCE with QTS, you will work full-time or part-time depending on availability, collaborating with teaching assistants and leaders to inspire young learners and promote high standards of behaviour and achievement.

Qualifications

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an appropriate recognised teaching qualification.
• Experience teaching within a primary school setting.
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
• Passionate about helping children achieve their best.
• Able to adapt teaching approaches to different learning needs.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the primary school curriculum.
• Support pupils’ academic progress, confidence and personal development.
• Create a safe, welcoming and inclusive learning environment.
• Assess and monitor pupils’ progress, adapting teaching to meet individual needs.
• Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, colleagues and school leadership.
• Promote positive behaviour and encourage pupils to reach their full potential.
