Job summary

Randstad Education is seeking a Primary SEND Teacher to join a specialist provision in East Grinstead. The role can be full-time or part-time during term time, offering daily rates between £140 and £233, with weekly pay and immediate start options.

The candidate should hold QTS and have a passion for inclusive education, working with a multidisciplinary team to support pupils with SEND in a nurturing, sensory-rich environment.

Qualifications

• Hold QTS and experience within a Primary setting (EYFS/KS1/KS2).
• Demonstrate genuine interest in or experience with SEND (ASC, PMLD, SLD, SEMH).
• Be highly adaptable to meet emotional or sensory needs of students.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a child-centred primary curriculum with sensory-rich, life-skills based learning.
• Lead and collaborate with Teaching Assistants in a small class (6-10 pupils) to enable 1:1 support.
• Work with multidisciplinary teams to support EHCP targets and safeguarding requirements.
