Job summary

Queen Margaret Academy in Tewkesbury, Gloucestershire, invites applications for a Classroom Teacher to join our nurturing, values-driven primary school community. This is a permanent, full-time role (32.5 hours) starting 4 January 2027, teaching a mixed Year 4/Year 5 class and delivering outstanding learning experiences.

Qualifications

• Qualified teacher or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Able to deliver curriculum across key stages with high quality lessons.
• Meet needs of learners including pupil premium, looked after children, SEND and high attaining.
• Strong communicator, with ability to embrace change, motivate colleagues and build relationships.
• Recognise and support opportunities beyond classroom delivery to enrich learning.
• Develop expert practice and support the development of others.

Responsibilities

• Deliver an engaging and aspirational curriculum for a mixed Year 4/Year 5 class.
• Inspire pupils to achieve their full potential and lifelong love of learning.
