Job summary

Haywood Village Academy in Weston-super-Mare, Somerset, is seeking an inspirational Class Teacher for a maternity-cover role starting November 2026. You will deliver high-quality lessons across key stages, meeting diverse needs including pupil premium, SEND and high attaining students.

You will join a supportive staff team within the CLF trust, contribute to a standards-driven curriculum, and develop practice while ensuring excellent pupil outcomes in a busy school community.

Qualifications

• Qualified teacher status or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Ability to deliver the curriculum and teach high-quality lessons across key stages.
• Experience supporting pupil premium, looked after children, SEND and high attaining students.
• Strong communication to motivate colleagues and build relationships with students, staff and parents.
• Commitment to developing expert practice and upholding Teachers’ Standards.
