Job summary

Prospero Teaching is seeking a passionate Class Teacher to support learning in a Sunderland primary school from November on a full-time, long-term basis. You will plan engaging lessons, differentiate for all abilities, and work with teaching assistants to create outstanding learning environments.

You will be part of a school with a strong culture of teamwork and high standards, contributing to pupil progress across age groups from EYFS to Year 6.

Qualifications

• QTS status in the UK.
• Experience teaching primary pupils in the UK.
• Experience with planning across EYFS to Year 6.
• Knowledge of the UK National Curriculum.
• Enhanced DBS (Update Service preferred).

Responsibilities

• Plan and teach engaging lessons that enable all pupils to progress.
• Differentiate lessons to meet diverse learning needs.
• Use varied assessment methods to monitor pupil progress.
• Build positive relationships with pupils and teaching assistants.
• Manage behaviour in a positive, proactive way.
• Collaborate with teaching assistants to deliver high-quality learning experiences.
