Job summary

TeacherActive is recruiting a Physics Teacher for a Birmingham secondary school. The role is full-time and long-term, with potential for a permanent position for the right candidate. You will teach Physics to KS3/KS4, with KS5 experience desirable, and deliver lessons that align with GCSE and A-Level specifications.

Qualifications

• QTS and a physics-related degree are required.
• Experience teaching Physics across KS3 and KS4; KS5 desirable.
• Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum and assessment strategies.
• Excellent classroom and behaviour management.
• Ability to plan engaging lessons that challenge students of varying abilities.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging Physics lessons across Key Stages 3–5.
• Monitor student progress through effective assessment and feedback.
• Teach Physics across the secondary curriculum in line with GCSE and A-Level requirements.
