Job summary

TLTP Education is seeking a qualified Maths Teacher for a long-term role in West Sussex, starting this September. You will deliver engaging maths lessons across the secondary age range and contribute to planning and assessment to raise attainment.

To succeed you must have QTS or equivalent, strong subject knowledge in Mathematics, and proven classroom management. An Enhanced DBS on Update Service, or willingness to apply, is required. Daily rate £180 to £270 depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Strong subject knowledge in Mathematics.
• Experience teaching at secondary level.
• Effective classroom management skills.
• Ability to engage, motivate and inspire learners.
• Enhanced DBS certificate on the Update Service, or willingness to apply.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging Maths lessons across the secondary age range.
• Plan and implement stimulating, challenging lessons that inspire students.
• Assess and monitor pupil progress to inform teaching strategies.
• Support students to reach their full academic potential.
• Contribute proactively to departmental planning and development.
• Maintain high standards of behaviour and academic achievement.
