Job summary

Gateway Teachers is seeking two Maths Teachers for a well-established Northamptonshire trust, covering two adjacent secondary schools. You’ll deliver high-quality lessons across KS3/KS4, with KS5 potential in timetable planning.

You will collaborate within the Maths Department to inspire learners, assess progress, and contribute to extracurriculars. A committed educator with strong communication and a passion for maths is expected.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Degree in Maths or a relevant subject (Maths, Engineering or Business).
• Experience teaching maths at Key Stages 3 and 4; KS5 experience desirable.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver engaging maths lessons across KS3 and KS4.
• Assess and monitor student progress with constructive feedback.
• Create an inclusive classroom environment encouraging active learning.
• Prepare students for GCSE examinations and target grades.
• Contribute to wider school life through activities and PD.
