Job summary

Gateway Teachers is seeking two Maths Teachers for a well-established Northamptonshire trust encompassing two nearby secondary schools. You will deliver high-quality lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with potential inclusion of Key Stage 5 in your timetable.

A Maths-related degree and QTS are essential, along with strong classroom management and communication skills. You will collaborate with the Maths Department to plan engaging lessons, assess progress, and help students achieve their GCSE

Qualifications

QTS or equivalent teaching qualification is required.
A degree in Maths or a related subject (Maths, Engineering or Business) is required.

Responsibilities

Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and effective maths lessons in line with the national curriculum.
Assess, monitor, and record student progress, providing constructive feedback.
Develop an inclusive classroom environment that encourages active learning and participation.
Prepare students for GCSE examinations and target grades.
Contribute to the wider school community through extracurricular activities and professional development.
Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and resources.
Attend department meetings, parent evenings, and other events as required.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of maths education developments.
