Job summary

Compass Schools is seeking a Mathematics specialist for our Compass Community School. You will teach across Entry Level, Functional Skills, Key Stage 3 and GCSE, knowing each child and building positive relationships to motivate learning.

We support teachers with national subject champions and extensive therapeutic training for staff working with SEMH and SEND. You will contribute to curriculum development, sponsor extracurricular activities, and help create engaging, real-world maths

Qualifications

• Must be a Mathematics specialist capable of engaging learners across levels.
• Experience with diverse SEMH needs and managing challenging behaviours.
• Ability to contribute to curriculum and extracurricular activities.

Responsibilities

• Teach Mathematics across Entry Level, Functional Skills, KS3 and GCSE.
• Build positive, professional relationships with students and staff.
• Collaborate with national subject champions to support non-subject specialists.
• Contribute to curriculum development and extra-curricular opportunities.
