Job summary

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Strong subject knowledge and a passion for Mathematics.
• Proven experience teaching Mathematics at the secondary level.
• Ability to plan and deliver outstanding lessons that engage and motivate students.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to continuous professional development.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and well-structured Maths lessons that promote a love of learning and intellectual curiosity.
• Differentiate teaching approaches to meet the needs of all Students, including those with special educational needs or Maths as an additional language.
• Contribute to the design and development of the Maths curriculum, ensuring it is challenging and relevant.
• Use formative and summative assessment effectively to monitor progress and plan subsequent lessons.
• Promote the school’s Catholic ethos and values through your teaching and interactions with students.
