Job summary

Ditcham Park School is seeking a Mathematics Teacher to join its Mathematics Department on a fixed term contract for 5 months, covering KS3 to GCSE with IGCSE curriculum. The role is full-time, immediate start preferred, and suitable for ECTs.

The successful candidate will have a strong maths background, a recognised teaching qualification, and a commitment to high standards, safeguarding, and collaborative team work within a thriving learning community.

Qualifications

Strong maths content knowledge and ability to teach KS3–GCSE using the IGCSE framework.
Ability to plan engaging, well-sequenced lessons with clear objectives.
Experience supporting diverse learners and promoting independent learning.

Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality mathematics teaching across KS3 and GCSE.
Plan engaging and well-sequenced lessons that promote progress for all learners.
Support the development of independent learning and effective revision strategies.
Contribute to assessment, monitoring and reporting of pupil progress.
Engage in collaborative planning and sharing of best practice within the department.
Contribute to enrichment activities, including UKMT and whole-school events.
