Job summary

Explore Learning in Orpington is seeking a Maths and English Tutor to support members with the national curriculum, 11+ and GCSE content. This on-site, permanent part-time role requires a minimum of 6 hours per week across at least two weekdays, with shift times from 3:30–4:00pm on listed days.

Deliver lessons with Compass, build meaningful relationships in a 1:6 setting, and drive academic progress. You must be 16+, have the right to work in the UK, and a GCSE grade 6+ in Maths and English

Qualifications

• Must be 16 or older and have right to work in the UK.
• GCSE grade 6 or above in Maths and English (predicted grades accepted).
• Commitment to supporting learners across 4–16 and 11+/GCSE content.

Responsibilities

• Deliver lessons that last using Compass, with tailored sessions.
• Build meaningful relationships in a safe, inspiring 1:6 learning environment.
• Drive academic progress through the national curriculum and GCSE prep.
