Job summary

Explore Learning is seeking a dedicated tutor to work on-site at our Gloucester centre. You will deliver tailored sessions using the Compass platform, coaching children aged 4–16 in Maths and English and supporting them through the national curriculum and GCSE preparation.

You’ll build strong relationships, foster a love of learning, and contribute to a supportive team environment within a 1:6 session ratio. This is a permanent, part-time role with flexible weekday hours.

Qualifications

• Age 16 or over and right to work in the UK
• GCSE Maths and English Language grade 6 or above (or predicted)
• Experience leading sessions with small groups is preferred

Responsibilities

• Deliver lessons using Compass with tailored sessions
• Build meaningful relationships in a 1:6 setting to inspire learning
• Support learners with the national curriculum, 11+ and GCSE prep
• Create a safe, engaging environment and promote a love of learning
