Job summary

Charnwood College in the David Ross Education Trust is seeking an enthusiastic Teacher of Mathematics for a full-time, permanent position. You will deliver engaging lessons across key stages 3–5, support high standards of behaviour, and contribute to the wider life of the school.

The post offers salary from M1 to UPS3 (£34,069 to £52,835 FTE), access to Teachers’ Pension, and a bespoke CPD programme. We value commitment to pupil achievement and inclusive teaching within a thriving mathematics

Qualifications

• Degree in specialist subject/ teaching qualification.
• Qualified Teacher Status - suitable for ECT.
• The skills, knowledge and understanding necessary to teach across key stages 3, 4 and 5.

Responsibilities

• Teach Mathematics to KS3–KS5, creating engaging, inclusive and challenging lessons.
• Maintain high standards of behaviour with warmth, clarity and positive classroom management.
• Contribute to wider life of the school and department.
