Job summary

Silverwood School - Chippenham Campus is seeking a Lower Primary Teacher (0.66) to join a dedicated team at our Wiltshire campus. The role focuses on delivering a broad, differentiated curriculum for pupils aged 4-19 with SEND, working under the guidance of the Director of Learning and campus leadership.

The successful candidate will contribute to curriculum development, student progress monitoring, and inclusive practice within a Values Based Education framework.

Qualifications

• To promote the aims and objectives of the school as laid down by the Governing Body.
• To monitor and support the overall progress and development of pupils.
• To provide work for the class affected by your absence when this is by prior arrangement.

Responsibilities

• To register classes taught at the commencement of morning and afternoon sessions.
• To work with colleagues to formulate aims and objectives which have coherence and relevance to the needs of pupils and to the aims and objectives of the school.
• To cater for pupils with specific educational needs and to provide adaptation to the curriculum to support pupils' needs.
• To implement the process of assessment, recording and reporting on the development, progress and attainments of pupils through Evidence for Learning and other school systems.
• To participate in arrangements for further training and professional development as a teacher in accordance with the school’s Performance Management procedures.
