Job summary

Education Authority is seeking a dedicated Primary Teacher to join an Integrated Primary School on a permanent, full-time basis. The post involves planning and delivering lessons, assessing pupil progress, and contributing to the school’s pastoral and academic development.

The role requires 3+ years of primary teaching experience, a recognised teaching qualification, and a track record in SEN support, including PLPs. Collaboration with colleagues, parents, and external partners is essential.

Qualifications

• 3 years minimum demonstrable experience teaching in a primary school.
• Honours degree with at least a 2:1 classification or equivalent.
• Experience writing SEN Personal Learning Plans (PLP) and supporting pupils with ASD is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Plan and prepare courses and lessons.
• Teach to pupils’ educational needs and assess progress.
• Promote pupil wellbeing and provide guidance on education and careers.
• Maintain records and reports on pupil development and attainment.
• Collaborate with parents and external bodies as required.
• Participate in staff development and school administration.
