Job summary

Coast and Vale Learning Trust is seeking an inspirational, friendly and driven individual to join our team at Hawkedon Primary School. The role may involve supporting pupils with additional emotional or physical needs and helping others in the class with their learning.

The age range is Reception to Year 6, with part of the hours spent supporting children at lunchtime. The successful candidate will have some experience with children and excellent communication, numeracy and literacy skills.

Qualifications

• Some experience of working with children.
• Ability to support children from Reception to Year 6.
• Excellent communication, numeracy & literacy skills.
• Experience of behaviour management and/or interventions would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils with additional emotional/physical needs as required.
• Assist in class and lunchtime activities to support learning.
• Support learning across Reception to Year 6.
• Contribute to a caring and positive school community.
