Job summary

REESON Education is inviting qualified Primary Teachers to register their interest in long-term opportunities across Croydon. Teachers with Year 4 or wider Key Stage 2 experience are especially encouraged to get in touch.

Long-term class teaching offers the opportunity to support pupils' learning and development over time. Depending on the assignment, the teacher may plan and teach the primary curriculum, assess progress and work with support staff to meet the needs of the whole class.

Qualifications

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status and has recent primary teaching experience.
• Experience in Year 4 or other Key Stage 2 year groups.

Responsibilities

• Planning and delivering engaging lessons that build pupils' knowledge and confidence.
• Using assessment to identify gaps and adapt teaching.
• Establishing clear routines and a positive classroom environment.
• Working with teaching assistants to support individuals and small groups.
• Communicating with colleagues and families about pupils' learning and wellbeing.
