Job summary

Aspire People is seeking an ICT/ Computer Science Teacher to join our Derby-based team. The role involves planning and delivering engaging ICT/Computer Science lessons, inspiring students to develop digital skills, computational thinking and understanding of computer science.

The successful candidate will deliver lessons across ICT/CS, support practical and theoretical learning, and contribute to the broader department. QTS or equivalent is desirable; experience in ICT/CS is welcomed.

Qualifications

• QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification is desirable.
• Experience teaching ICT/Computer Science is advantageous.
• Able to teach students with a range of abilities and adapt to different learning needs.

Responsibilities

We are seeking an enthusiastic, committed and inspiring ICT / Computer Science Teacher to join our dedicated teaching team. This is an exciting opportunity for a teacher who is passionate about technology and enjoys inspiring students to develop their digital skills, computational thinking and understanding of computer science.

The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging, challenging and inclusive lessons across a range of ICT and/or Computer Science topics. You will encourage students to develop both their practical skills and theoretical understanding, helping them to become confident and responsible users and creators of technology.

Position: ICT / Computer Science Teacher

Location: Nottingham

Start Date: ASAP
