Job summary

Clarence Recruitment is seeking an ICT Teacher for a thriving secondary school in Rugby, Warwickshire. You will deliver ICT and Computing lessons to KS3/KS4, with KS5 opportunities for experienced candidates.

The role requires QTS or equivalent and a degree in ICT/Computing, with strong classroom management and communication. It is a rolling contract starting ASAP, paying £179-£255 per day, on-site in Rugby.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Degree in ICT, Computer Science, Computing, or related subject.
• Strong subject knowledge and passion for technology education.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging ICT and Computing lessons for KS3/4 (and KS5 for experienced candidates).
• Assess, record, and report student progress following school policies.
• Differentiate activities to support learners of varying abilities.
• Create an inclusive, stimulating classroom environment.
• Support safeguarding and promote student wellbeing.
• Contribute to curriculum planning and department development.
• Participate in parents' evenings, staff meetings, and school events.
