Education Personnel are recruiting a History Teacher for a Nottingham secondary school, with QTS required, to start immediately or January 2027. The role covers KS3 and KS4, with potential KS5 teaching for experienced candidates.

Qualifications

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Minimum 6 months of History teaching in a UK secondary school.

Responsibilities

• Deliver KS3 & KS4 History curriculum, with KS5 teaching available if experienced in Nottingham
• Plan, prepare, and assess History lessons in line with department policy
• Monitor student progress and implement interventions for source analysis and essay skills
• Contribute to History department improvement planning
• Attend staff meetings, CPD, and parents' evenings as required
