Ruth Gorse Academy in Leeds seeks an outstanding Geography Teacher to join a successful, ambitious team. The role suits both Early Career Teachers and experienced educators dedicated to raising standards and fostering a love of Geography.

Formación

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or on track to achieve QTS.
• A successful record of teaching Geography with strong outcomes at KS3 and/or KS4, or potential to demonstrate excellence as an ECT.
• A secure understanding of current educational developments and best practice, including strategies to support disadvantaged pupils and the use of Pupil Premium funding.
• High expectations of student achievement, behaviour and engagement.
• A successful record of teaching with very good exam results at KS3/KS4.
• A detailed knowledge of current developments in education including the use of the Pupil Premium.
• The ability to put vision into practice.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver high-quality teaching and learning in Geography to inspire students.
• Support students to reach their full potential and uphold high standards of behaviour and engagement.
• Contribute to school improvement and raise standards within the Geography department.
• Engage in professional development and collaborate with colleagues to implement best practices.
