Job summary

Activate Learning is seeking a Maths Teacher on a maternity cover basis to join our Academic Studies Faculty at Guildford College. The role is fixed-term, part-time working 19 hours per week, with a salary of £32,486 - £45,404 per year. Contract ends March 2028.

You will deliver GCSE Maths courses, inspire learners, and tailor teaching to diverse needs. Prior FE experience is welcome, and training and development are provided to support your progression.

Qualifications

• A level 3 qualification in Maths or a related subject.
• A teaching qualification, or willingness to work towards one.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Inspire GCSE Maths students and deliver engaging lessons.
• Tailor teaching to meet diverse learner needs and promote academic growth.
