Job summary

Academics Ltd in High Wycombe is seeking an enthusiastic Early Years Teacher to join the EYFS team. Start dates available in November 2026 or January 2027 for the right candidate, with a full-time contract.

The successful applicant will deliver engaging EYFS lessons, foster a nurturing, creative environment, monitor progress, and work closely with teaching assistants, parents, and the school community to support children's first year of formal education.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
• Experience in Early Years, preferably Reception.
• Strong passion for EYFS and early childhood development.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging lessons in line with the EYFS framework.
• Create an inclusive, stimulating classroom environment.
• Provide creative activities to support children's development.
• Monitor and assess progress and maintain records.
• Collaborate with teaching assistants, colleagues and parents to support learning.
• Support children's transition into Reception and movement to KS1.
• Promote high expectations, independence and positive behaviour.
