Outcomes First Schools is seeking an inspiring English Teacher to lead English and literacy provision for students with SEMH at Heath Farm College, Maidstone. This role involves delivering high-quality lessons across KS4/KS5 and contributing to the broader curriculum development in a supportive, inclusive setting.

With a focus on developing communication and literacy, you will work with the therapy team and staff to ensure pupils make strong academic progress and achieve their next steps in

Qualifications

• UK QTS required to teach English in KS4/KS5.
• Experience supporting SEMH learners preferred.
• Driving licence is required for UK applicants.

Responsabilités

• Deliver engaging English lessons across KS4/KS5.
• Lead development of English and literacy provision across the school.
• Plan and deliver a curriculum that enables all students to reach potential.
• Adapt teaching to meet SEMH and other learning needs.
• Collaborate with the therapy team and staff for integrated student support.
• Create a positive learning environment promoting engagement and progress.
• Apply effective behaviour management to support student success.
• Monitor and track student progress using data for improvement.
• Support literacy, communication and employability skills.
• Loster with colleagues, parents and external professionals to maximise outcomes.
• Contribute to curriculum planning and school-wide initiatives.
