Responsibilities

• Promote the academic progress, wellbeing and positive behaviour of all students
• Plan and deliver high-quality, inclusive lessons across English
• Contribute to the development of an ambitious English curriculum
• Assess, monitor and report on progress, implementing timely interventions
• Work collaboratively within the English team to support the school's vision
• Reflect on and improve practice through professional development and shared expertise
• Support curriculum development, examinations and school improvement priorities
• Participate in meetings, duties and enrichment activities as required
• Build positive relationships with students, parents/carers and external partners
