Responsibilities

Promote the academic progress, wellbeing and positive behaviour of all students
Plan and deliver high-quality, inclusive lessons across English
Contribute to the development of an ambitious English curriculum
Assess, monitor and report on progress, implementing timely interventions
Work collaboratively within the English team to support the school’s vision
Reflect on and improve practice through professional development and shared expertise
Support curriculum development, examinations and school improvement priorities
Participate in meetings, duties and enrichment activities as required
Build positive relationships with students, parents/carers and external partners
