Redcar and Cleveland College, part of Education Training Collective, is seeking an hourly paid English Lecturer to join the English team, reporting to the Curriculum Manager of English, Maths, Digital and Foundation Learning. You will deliver high-quality teaching across English programmes, plan engaging lessons, assess progress, and provide feedback to support achievement.

Qualifications

• A degree in English or a related subject.
• Additional qualifications or experience relevant to teaching English in Further Education.
• Experience of delivering English, including GCSE and/or Functional Skills, within a Further Education setting would be desirable.
• Maths GCSE Grade 4 / C or equivalent, or willingness to work towards.

Responsabilités

• Deliver high-quality teaching and learning across a range of English programmes, ensuring lessons are engaging and inclusive.
• Plan and deliver effective lessons, assess learners' progress through examinations and continuous assessment, and provide constructive feedback.
• Contribute to curriculum development, team meetings and quality assurance activities.
