Job summary

Allscreens Nationwide Ltd in Chichester is seeking an Engineering Lecturer to inspire and develop the next generation of engineers by delivering high-quality teaching across engineering programmes. You will lead engaging classroom, workshop and practical sessions while helping students build technical knowledge, practical skills and professional behaviours for further study, apprenticeships and careers.

Qualifications

Experience teaching engineering in FE, HE, apprenticeships, or industry.
Strong technical knowledge across mechanical, electrical, manufacturing or general engineering.
Excellent communication and organisational skills.
Inspiring learners from diverse backgrounds; capable of independent and team work.
Experience with workshop equipment and relevant software.
Awareness of safeguarding, equality, diversity and inclusive teaching.

Responsibilities

Plan, prepare and deliver engaging engineering lessons across programmes.
Deliver practical workshop and lab sessions with health and safety compliance.
Develop schemes of work, lesson plans and learning resources.
Assess learner progress with timely feedback.
Prepare learners for assessments and progression into higher education or employment.
Monitor attendance and progress; implement interventions.
Maintain learner records and quality assurance evidence.
Contribute to curriculum development and standardisation activities.
Collaborate with employers and industry partners to reflect current practice.
Promote a safe, inclusive learning environment.
