Job summary

Ruskin House Nursery is seeking a qualified Early Years Teacher (Level 6 QTS/EYTS) to join a nurturing environment. You will plan and deliver engaging early years experiences, guiding children through EYFS milestones while collaborating with a supportive team.

The role offers 4-day-per-week contracts, a salary up to £35,000 per annum, and opportunities for professional development within Inspired Learning Group. Strong safeguarding and parental partnership are essential.

Qualifications

• Broad knowledge of EYFS and effective Early Years pedagogy.
• Experience using observation and assessment to support children's development.
• Strong understanding of school readiness and transitions.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate learning experiences.
• Develop a rich EYFS curriculum and support individual development.
• Assess progress and plan next steps with observations.
• Collaborate with colleagues to maintain high-quality teaching and provision.
• Engage with parents to keep them informed of learning and development.
• Support others through modelling and mentoring best practice.
