Job summary

Teaching Personnel Ltd. is seeking a passionate Design & Technology Teacher for a secondary school in Telford (TF1). The role covers KS3 and KS4 with a November start and a full-time, long-term placement that may become permanent.

The salary range is £32,000–£48,000 per year, with a competitive daily rate and dedicated consultant support. You will plan, deliver and assess engaging DT lessons, manage classroom behaviour, and contribute to a supportive school environment.

Qualifications

• QT S or equivalent must be held.
• Experience teaching Design & Technology at secondary level.
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
• Passionate about delivering outstanding teaching and learning.

Responsibilities

• Teach Design & Technology to KS3 & KS4 students.
• Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality lessons.
• Assess, monitor and support student progress.
• Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
• Work collaboratively within the Technology department.
• Undertake form tutor responsibilities where required.
