Job summary

A high-performing secondary school in Southwark is seeking a passionate Computer Science Teacher to join its supportive department from September 2026. You will plan and deliver engaging lessons across KS3 and KS4, with KS5 where appropriate, helping every student reach their potential.

The successful candidate will hold QTS, have CS teaching experience, and demonstrate excellent subject knowledge and classroom management.

Qualifications

• Hold QTS and be eligible to work in the UK.
• Experience teaching Computer Science across KS3 and KS4.
• Desirable to teach KS5 where appropriate.
• Demonstrate a genuine passion for education and student development.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, well-structured CS lessons.
• Teach CS across KS3 and KS4; KS5 where possible.
• Monitor progress and provide feedback to support achievement.
• Create an inclusive and positive classroom environment.
