Job summary

Aurem Care is seeking an inspirational Care Home Manager to lead one of our residential and nursing homes in Colchester. You will be responsible for delivering exceptional person-centred care, governance and compliance, and creating a warm environment for residents and relatives.

You will work with the Operations Team and Clinical Leads to drive continuous improvement, staff development and ensure outstanding outcomes for every resident.

Qualifications

• 2+ years' experience managing a residential and nursing care home.
• NMC Pin (Registered Nurse) or qualified nurse.
• Strong knowledge of elderly and dementia care and clinical governance.
• Proven leadership of multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop high-performing clinical and non-clinical teams.
• Ensure delivery of safe, person-centred care and regulatory compliance.
• Maintain governance and clinical standards with regular audits.
• Support staff development and competency assessments.
• Oversee admissions, budgets and resource management.
• Collaborate with regulators, commissioners and external partners.
