  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement, learning and accountability.
  • Monitor quality, care standards and clinical performance through regular audits and reviews.
  • Provide clinical supervision, coaching and competency assessments where appropriate.
  • Build strong relationships with residents, relatives, healthcare professionals and external agencies.

  • Manage staffing levels, recruitment, retention and workforce development.
  • Oversee staff appraisals, supervision, mandatory training and professional development.
  • Ensure all admissions are appropriately assessed and support smooth resident transitions.
  • Manage budgets and resources effectively whilst maintaining exceptional standards of care.
  • Work collaboratively with regulatory bodies, commissioners and local healthcare professionals.
  • Champion innovation, best practice and continuous service improvement across the home.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with all employment legislation and regulatory requirements.
About You

We're looking for an experienced and compassionate leader who is passionate about delivering exceptional care.

You'll have:

  • A minimum of 2 years' experience managing a residential and nursing care home.
  • A valid NMC Pin (Registered Nurse) or experienced qualified Nurse.
  • Strong knowledge of elderly care, dementia care and clinical governance.
  • Proven experience leading and developing multidisciplinary teams.
  • Excellent knowledge of CQC standards and regulatory compliance.
  • A proactive approach with the ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.
