Job summary

Protocol Education is seeking an enthusiastic Art Teacher for a South Leeds secondary school on a full-time supply basis from January.

You will teach Art to KS3-4, plan engaging lessons aligned with the national curriculum, and assess student progress while fostering creativity within a supportive department. The role suits an experienced teacher or an ECT seeking valuable classroom experience in a nurturing environment.

Qualifications

• Qualified teacher with QTS and UK secondary experience.
• Excellent knowledge of Art and safeguarding responsibilities.
• Ability to inspire learners of all abilities and manage classes.

Responsibilities

• Teach Art across Key Stages 3 and 4 in a full-time capacity.
• Plan and deliver creative, engaging Art lessons aligned with the national curriculum.
• Assess, monitor and report on student progress and attainment.
• Maintain high standards of behaviour and classroom management.
• Create an inclusive classroom environment encouraging creativity.
• Support students to reach their academic and creative potential.
