Job summary

TeacherActive is working with a warm specialist alternative provision school in Tyldesley to recruit an Art Teacher for KS3/KS4 from October on a long-term, full-time basis. You will teach Photography, Digital Art and Fine Art, delivering engaging lessons while maintaining consistent behaviour management.

You must have QTS with an Art specialism and experience across KS3/KS4, plus the ability to support pupils with SEMH needs.

Qualifications

• QTS with an Art specialism and KS3/KS4 experience.
• Experience delivering Photography, Digital Art and Fine Art.
• Experience supporting young people with SEMH and behavioural difficulties.
• Excellent classroom and behaviour management.
• Patient, resilient and adaptable approach.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging Art lessons across KS3 and KS4 including Photography, Digital Art and Fine Art.
• Maintain consistent classroom management and support pupils with SEMH needs.
• Work in a long-term, full-time capacity starting October.
