Job summary

Vision for Education is seeking a passionate Teacher of Art & Design to join a well-established secondary school in Lancaster, Lancashire from October 2026. This long-term temporary position is guaranteed until Christmas 2026, with the possibility of extension still to be confirmed.

The role involves delivering engaging Art & Design lessons for Key Stages 3 and 4, contributing to a supportive school community, and benefitting from a dedicated Vision for Education consultant.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
• Experience teaching Art & Design within a UK secondary school.
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
• A passion for inspiring creativity and engaging young people.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging Art & Design lessons to KS3 and KS4.
• Maintain positive behaviour and strong classroom management.
• Communicate effectively with students, parents and staff.
