Our partner school is a mixed 11-16 secondary school with a strong community ethos and approximately 1,100 students.
The school has a particularly enthusiastic approach to the creative curriculum and believes that Art should be accessible to every student, regardless of their starting point.
The Art department has recently introduced a number of new projects designed to encourage students to experiment with different media and develop their own artistic identity.
The school has dedicated Art studios, a photography area and a small exhibition space where students' work is regularly displayed.
The department works closely with Music, Drama and Design Technology to provide students with opportunities to showcase their creativity across the school.
The leadership team are described as supportive and approachable, with a strong focus on staff development and maintaining a positive school culture.
The successful Art Teacher will teach across KS3 and KS4, delivering engaging and creative lessons that encourage students to experiment, take risks and develop their technical ability.
The school is open to applications from experienced Art Teachers as well as ECTs with a strong passion for Art and a desire to develop their teaching career.
